Hogwarts Legacy All Infamous Foes Locations (2024)

Hogwarts Legacy has 18 Infamous Foe Locations. Finding all Infamous Foes is required to complete all Enemies Collections and to get theCollector’s Edition trophy & achievement. They also count as collectibles towards the completion of several regions, as displayed in the top right corner of the world map when fully zooming out.

None of the Infamous Foes are missable. You can still find all of them after the story in free-roam. They are either found in the open world or part of Side Quests. It’s best to do all Side Quests first, then you will have all quest-specific ones. See All Side Quests Guide. Get your missing ones afterward. You can zoom out on the map to see in which region you have one left. Alternatively, you can also compare against your Enemies List in the Collection Menu to see which ones you are missing (also see All Enemies List).

Infamous Foes in the open world get marked by a Skull-Icon when unfogging the map and going near them. Infamous Foesfrom side quests are found inside dungeons and don’t get marked on the map.

Hogsmeade Valley (3 Infamous Foes)

Infamous Foe #1:Rampant Dugbog
Found in the Open World, at the northern edge of Hogsmeade Valley.

Infamous Foe #2: Tempest Thorne
Found in the Open World, in the east of Hogsmeade valley in a castle with lots of enemies. The gate will be closed but you can fly in there using the Flying Broom.

Infamous Foe #3: Bardolph Beaumont’s Corpse
Boss during Side Quest: Brother’s Keeper. The quest starts in the town “Upper Hogsfield” in Hogsmeade Valley. It’s a main objective to defeat this foe during the quest. Note: the region-counter for Hogsmeade Valley is known to bug out and may not increase the counter +1 from this enemy, but it should get added to the Enemies Collection Menu correctly.

Forbidden Forest (Bonus Foe)

Bonus Foe: The Absconder
The Absconder is a giant Level 33 Spider in Forbidden Forest that you defeat as part of Side Quest: Absconder Encounter. This quest starts in South Hogwarts Region. Below image #1-2 show the quest start and image #3 shows the foe. Forbidden Forest doesn’t show Infamous Foes in the region tracker and it doesn’t count towards any other region (doesn’t count towards South Hogwarts Region either), but it does count as a unique enemy in the Enemies Collection and has an Infamous Foe health bar at the top of the screen. We are counting this as a “bonus foe” since it’s not tracked on the in-game map.

North Hogwarts Region (1 Infamous Foe)

Infamous Foe #4:Pergit
Boss during Side Quest: The Tale of Rowland Oakes, in North Hogwarts Region > Korrow Ruins. The quest starts inHogwarts -> The Astronomy Wing -> Transfiguration Courtyard (available afterMain Quest: The Helm of Urtkot).

South Hogwarts Region (1 Infamous Foe)

Infamous Foe #5:The Isatiable Spider
Boss duringSide Quest: Tangled Web. It’s a main objective during this side quest to defeat it. Below images #1-2 show the quest start in Hogsmeade, image #3 shows the infamous foe. As part of the quest you must head to Aranshire in South Hogwarts to defeat this spider foe. It counts towards South Hogwarts region’s collectible counter.

Hogwarts Valley (4 Infamous Foes)

Infamous Foe #6: TheWhite Wolf
Found in the Open World. 2 Foes together here in one cave “The White Wolf” & “The Grim”. Next to a river there’s a little path in the bushes that leads into a cave with this foe. You can place a marker on the infamous foe icon and go on foot to see the path on the minimap.

Infamous Foe #8:Quagmire Troll
Found in the Open World.

Infamous Foe #9:Alexandra’s Troll
Boss duringSide Quest: Troll Control. The quest starts in the town “Brocburrow” in the north-east of Hogwarts Valley. You have to defeat this foe as part of the quest. Below images #1-2 show the quest start, image #3 shows the foe.

Feldcroft Region (2 Infamous Foes)

Infamous Foe #10: Belgruff the Bludgeoner
Found in the Open World.

Infamous Foe #11: Catrin Haggarty
Boss during Natsai’s Relationship Quest: The Lost Child. The quest starts in the town “Lower Hogsfield” in South Hogwarts Region. You have to defeat this foe as part of the quest. Below images #1-2 show the quest start, image #3 shows the foe.

Coastal Cavern (1 Infamous Foe)

Infamous Foe #12: Ogbert the Odd
Found in the open world. On the main pathinside Coastal Cavern when going from South Sea Bog to Poidsear Coast.

Infamous Foe #13:Iona Morgan
Found in the open world. In ruins with other enemies.

Marunweem Lake (1 Infamous Foe)

Infamous Foe #14: Grodbik
Found INSIDE “The Coastal Mine”, the entrance to it is east of “Coastal Mine” Floo Flame (very north of Marunweem Lake region). You first access this during Main Quest #42: Lodgok’s Loyalty, which happens near the end of the story. You can still return to it later after the story. Once inside the Coastal Mine continue forward until see the Infamous Foe on the minimap. Then you must use Incendio on a furnace that activates a platform to get downstairs to this infamous foe. One of the trickier locations to find because it’s not marked on the map, due to being indoors in a mine.

Manor Cape (3 Infamous Foes)

Infamous Foe #15:Dunstan Trinity
Found in the open world.

Infamous Foe #16: Ailsa Travers
Found in the basem*nt of the old manor at West Manor Cape (contains two infamous foes “Ailsa Travers” & “Lord of the Manor”). You will automatically encounter this enemy on your way to Side Quest: Cursed Tomb Treasure. There are two ways to get downstairs. The first option is to go inside the manor and down the stairs, then open the Level 3 door lock (requires having found 22 Demiguise Statues to open Level 3 Locks).If you can’t open Level 3 locks yet, the second option is to cast Incendio on the statue straight north from “West Manor Cape” Floo Flame, then the statue turns and you can step inside it which will bring you to the basem*nt. The screenshots below show the second path with the statue you can use.

Found in the Open World.Also automatically defeated duringSide Quest:Sacking Selwyn.
